Thanks for coming to check out my food and lifestyle blog. My name is Amanda, AKA the Bitch in the Kitch. Not because I’m a bitch, because cooking and leading a healthy lifestyle has made me feel bitchin’ ever since I can remember.
I am a foodie, health-junkie and self taught gluten-free cook from Montreal. I suffer from IBS and am intolerant to most food groups. Because of that, I’ve had to learn how to adapt my favourite recipes and eliminate ingredients that I cannot tolerate.
My passion is health, fitness and food. Although I have been known to indulge and deal with the consequences later, I’m learning to have some self-control when it comes to the foods I love and shouldn’t be eating (especially gluten).
I am a spinning instructor and soon-to-be certified personal trainer. Health isn’t a goal, it’s a way of life.
I believe that cooking should be fun and not feel like a chore. Taste shouldn’t be compromised because of health or diet restrictions.
